The previous two seasons, the Golden State Warriors have missed the first round of the NBA playoffs. This season could mark the end of that drought. If health allows them to have a complete roster, the Dubs could be looking at an exciting year.

With expectations being high, it's three things that could shock the world about this Warriors team.

Warriors keys:

Andrew Wiggins is better than he gets credit for

Andrew Wiggins will be a massive part of the success of the Warriors. Last season he was the team's best two-way player. Even with Klay Thompson returning, Wiggins still might be their best two-way guy. Last year he averaged 18.6 points on 47.7 percent from the field and 38 percent from deep.

On the defensive end, he recorded nearly one block and one steal per game. Playing great defense was something the Warriors pounded into Wiggins' head. They felt he could be one of the best perimeter defenders in the NBA. It's something Wiggins believes and wants to be known for around the league. He took a jump on the defensive end and excelled offensively simultaneously. He could surprise everyone by leaping to all-star status if he continues this path.

Dubs have ingredients no one else has

It might not surprise many that this year's team can make the playoffs, but how they make it would be. If healthy, the Dubs could be a top-three seed in the Western Conference. They're one more MVP-type season from Stephen Curry, leading them to be one of the best in the west. Getting his fellow Splash Brother Klay Thompson gives the Warriors something no other team has. Two of the greatest shooters of all time on one team.

It's difficult to imagine teams stopping the Warriors' offense with Curry and Thompson on the floor. As long as they are healthy, finding ways to score shouldn't be a problem. Remember before Kevin Durant, the duo won a championship and set the single-season win record going 73-9. If the Warriors find their rhythm, a top seed in the playoff will happen.

No major injuries

Over the last two seasons, Dubs fans have started to expect a significant injury to occur and mess up the season. While there is no way to guarantee that nobody will suffer crucial damage, it has to end at some point. The Warriors training staff will be doing everything possible to keep guys healthy and on the floor.

The wishful thinking from fans of a healthy squad will finally pay off, and the Warriors will surprise all with a healthy team. It's no way to prove this as fact, but it's just a gut feeling.

With these three surprises in store this season, fans should be ecstatic about the team's future. Some good luck and hard work could make the 2021-22 season a special one for Warriors fans.
