There are a lot of good free agents this offseason in the NFL, but one of the most sought after guys (if he makes it that far) will be Jadeveon Clowney. The former number one overall pick is set to become a free agent if the Houston Texans can't reach an agreement or use the franchise tag on him.

He has dealt with injuries throughout his career, but when he is on the field he constantly needs to be double-teamed. So what teams make the most sense for Clowney?

Houston Texans

Of course it makes the most sense for the Houston Texans to re-sign Clowney, and if they don't it's going to be a big hole to fill.

Even if the Texans can't get a long term deal with Clowney they really should place the franchise tag on him. He is a guy that can line up anywhere and with J.J Watt on the other side opposing teams have to decide which guy to double team because they can't do both.

He is also only 26 and is in the prime of his career. He is going to take up a lot of cap space, but the Texans need to make this their priority to make sure he is in Houston next season.

Indianapolis Colts

If the Texans can't resign Clowney the team that makes the most sense is also in the AFC South, the Indianapolis Colts.

The Colts have all kinds of money to spend in free agency currently sitting with $115 million free to use. The team could make a nice front loaded contract and that would mean they would still have a ton of cap space the next few seasons.

The Colts defense is good and putting Clowney in them would really sure up the defensive line.

Los Angeles Rams

Another place Clowney would be a good fit in the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams might not have the cap space to get a deal done, but if Clowney decides he wants to do a short term deal this would be a lot of sense.

The Rams are probably going to loss Suh this offseason and putting Clowney next to Aaron Donald would be a nightmare for opposing teams.

If Clowney wants to do a short term deal, this is a place that he should sign but if Clowney doesn't get tagged the guess is he would want to d a long term deal.
