The Buffalo Bills are among the shortlist of teams that were eliminated from the postseason in 2019 that shouldn't be disappointed in how the season ended. As long as Sean McDermott is the head coach and Josh Allen continues to improve, the Bills have a bright future ahead.

Also, with the offseason steadily approaching, Buffalo is projected to have $81 million in cap space, according to Spotrac. Therefore, the Bills have an ample amount of money to improve the roster for next season.

Just like the other 31 other teams in the NFL, the Bills have a few vital choices to make in terms of their roster. With that in mind, here are three underrated free agents the Bills should target this offseason.

3. B.J. Finney

Ahead of the offseason, the Bills are undoubtedly spending some time surveying their options on the interior offensive line. When free agency begins, Buffalo is going to have Quinton Spain become an unrestricted free agent.

Spain signed a one-year deal with the Bills last offseason and started in all 16 games in 2019. While signing Spain is a possibility, Buffalo could choose to replace him with someone like B.J. Finney.

With the 2020 NFL Draft lacking interior offensive linemen, the Bills would likely find their replacement in free agency. Finney has spent the past four seasons as a depth option on the Pittsburgh Steelers offensive line. But in 2019, Finney played pretty well in the opportunities he was given.

2. Bashaud Breeland

Every time you turn on a Bills game, it's evident that Tre'Davious White is one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL. As good as White is by his lonesome, Buffalo should consider pairing him with a formidable corner on the other side.

This season, the Bills started Levi Wallace and Kevin Johnson at cornerback. Of those two, Johnson is an impending free agent and it remains to be seen if he returns in 2020.

To bolster the secondary, the Bills could target Bashaud Breeland from the Kansas City Chiefs. Breeland corraled two interceptions in the regular season and then he made a crucial interception in Super Bowl 54 to help the Chiefs defeat the San Francisco 49ers.

1. Robert Quinn

Upon Buffalo's elimination in the playoffs, Lorenzo Alexander announced that he was retiring from the NFL. Besides Alexander, the Bills are also in danger of losing Shaq Lawson in free agency.

Seeing that two of their marquee pass rushers could be gone next season, the Bills need edge defenders this offseason. Before signing someone, it's important to note that Jerry Hughes can still be a difference-maker off of the edge.

In an attempt to pair Hughes with a talented sack-artist, the Bills should focus on signing Robert Quinn. The 29-year-old defensive end finished the 2019 season with 11.5 sacks, 13 tackles for loss, and two forced fumbles with the Dallas Cowboys. The 11.5 sacks are the most he's recorded since 2013.
