The Green Bay Packers won the NFC North and got a first-round bye in the playoffs but they were knocked out in the NFC Championship game. Now, some improvements need to be made this offseason. Aaron Rodgers needs more weapons outside and the defense still has some pieces that could be added to help improve the team.

According to spotrac.com, the Packers are projected to have almost $22 million in cap space for the 202o season. With the cap space, the team is going to need to be smart with their money which means they are going to need to sign some lower costing free agents.

Let's look at three underrated free agents the Packers should target.

3. Randall Cobb

The Packers let Randall Cobb walk and that has turned out to be a big mistake. Davante Adams and Allen Lazard look to be long term options for the Packers, but with those two there are a lot of question marks. Cobb didn't get a ton of attention with the Cowboys but did catch 55 passes for 828 yards and three touchdowns.

Could the 2019 season been different if Cobb would have been on the team? It's hard to predict that type of thing, but more weapons for Rodgers is never a bad thing.

This should be a top priority for the Packers this offseason.

2. Chase Daniel

Tim Boyle was the backup for Aaron Rodgers during the 2019 season, and that is an area they could really find an upgrade.

Chase Daniel has spent the last couple of years with the Chicago Bears and has proven he could win a game or two when Mitchell Trubisky went down with an injury.

If Rodgers went down with an injury for a week, having a solid backup quarterback could keep the season on track. Daniels would be the perfect guy to sit behind Rodgers.

1. Eric Ebron

The Packers would be smart to move on from Jimmy Graham and save the cap space, which means they are going to be in the market for a tight end.

Eric Ebron has a real issue with dropping the ball, but he is still a talented player. During the 2019 season, he caught 31 passes for 375 yards and three touchdowns. Saving money by cutting Graham and getting a better tight in Ebron seems like a major win for the Packers.

The defense needs some improvements, but that is where they are probably going to need to spend the bigger bucks to get quality players.
