The Atlanta Falcons are currently rebuilding their roster as the franchise is officially in a rebuild. Luckily for them, they have some young, exciting players to build around. It'll be interesting to see how they play in this year, as some guys on the roster have a chance to become superstars in the league. With that in mind, we take a look at three, way too early predictions for the Falcons' 2022 season.

Although the quarterback situation is dreary, Atlanta has some weapons on the offense that will spice things up a bit. The Falcons selected Drake London in the first round of the NFL Draft and he should make an immediate impact on the offense. Meanwhile, Kyle Pitts is in line to have a monster season as the top pass option for Marcus Mariota.

They may struggle defensively, but at least the team has a superstar in the making out in the secondary. AJ Terrell is likely to take another big jump in development. If he balls out, then the Falcons suddenly have an elite cornerback on the defense. At the very least, Atlanta's future will become much brighter at the end of the football year.

With that said, here are our way too early predictions for the Falcons' 2022 season.

Falcons Way Too Early Predictions For The 2022 NFL Season

3. Drake London will be in the running for OROY

Falcons fans should be ecstatic with Drake London joining the franchise. He's a big-bodied receiver who has all of the potential in the world to be a star. London has a real chance to make an immediate impact, especially with Calvin Ridley suspended for the entire season. He is in line to be a top-two option in the passing game and could make a case to win Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Drake London did struggle in creating separation during his time in college. However, his size makes up for it. He's capable of winning the jump ball and should be a legitimate red-zone target for Mariota. Keep an eye on the Falcons' rookie receiver, as he is in a prime situation to start his career.

2. Kyle Pitts goes bonkers and enters elite status

Everyone sees Kyle Pitts as the next superstar and should prove that in the 2022 NFL Season. He is a mismatch nightmare and will be a focal point in the offense. After having a stellar rookie campaign, we should see Pitts explode in his sophomore year. If he does that, then the Falcons suddenly have a legitimate weapon in the passing game.

Additionally, Marcus Mariota has a tendency to target tight ends often. He fed the ball to Delanie Walker often during his time with the Tennessee Titans. Walker was a stud, but Kyle Pitts has the tools to become the best tight end in the league this year. Look for the Falcons to throw his way all year long as Pitts aims to become one of the NFL's top pass options.

1. AJ Terrell makes a case as the best cornerback in the NFL

He's already viewed as one of the best young cornerbacks in the league and now it's time for AJ Terrell to improve his play. The Falcons have a soon-to-be superstar on their hands, as Terrell has been a shutdown corner so far in his early career. Atlanta will greatly benefit from him taking another step in development, as his presence gives the defense a legitimate star to build around.

Cornerback has become a premium position in the league and AJ Terrell fits the bill. He'll have his work cut out for him though, as he faces Mike Evans, Michael Thomas, and DJ Moore two times each in the upcoming season. Look for Terrell to enter conversations with Jalen Ramsey and Trevon Diggs, as the Falcons will continue ensuring their star cornerback is set up for success.
