The Green Bay Packers are heading into their Week 14 matchup against the Washington Redskins looking like major favorites to move to 10-3 on the season. After defeating the New York Giants by a final score of 31-13 last week, the Packers are once again looking like a Super Bowl contender.

It has been a fun season for the fans in Green Bay. The proud franchise missed the playoffs in each of the last two seasons and things were looking a bit rough. That led to the firing of longtime head coach Mike McCarthy.

Matt LaFleur has come in as a first-year head coach and has changed everything about the culture in Green Bay. His offensive scheme has fit well with Aaron Rodgers and the rest of the personnel. Mike Pettine and the defense has shown major improvement, but there are still a lot of consistency issues.

Heading into this week's matchup, the Packers need to play their game and avoid taking the Redskins lightly. Washington just shocked the Carolina Panthers in an upset win. Green Bay cannot afford to let their season get derailed due to a loss against a bad football team.

All of that being said, here are four reasons why the Packers will take care of business and defeat the Redskins.

4. Dwayne Haskins Isn't Ready for the Pressure

Washington has turned to rookie quarterback Dwayne Haskins as their long-term franchise quarterback and are expecting big things from him. While he has been playing decent football this season, he has struggled under pressure and has made quite a few mistakes.

Pettine and the Packers' defense are without question capable of making big plays and putting a lot of pressure on the quarterback. Preston and Za'Darius Smith are one of the better pass-rushing duos in the NFL. They are going to get to Haskins a lot and he will make mistakes and turn the football over a couple of times.

3. Green Bay's Offensive Line Has Been Stepping Up

Against the Giants, the Packers were able to step up and keep their franchise quarterback on his feet. Unfortunately, two weeks ago against the San Francisco 49ers, the opposite was true. Green Bay knows that a major key to their offense is keeping Rodgers upright and they will do so this week.

Green Bay will find a way to keep Rodgers' jersey clean this week. They may allow a sack or two, but they are going to give their superstar quarterback a lot of time to work with in the pocket. With that time, Rodgers is going to gash the secondary and put up another big game.

2. Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams Are Dangerous

Next up, the Packers could not be happier with the production they have been receiving from their running back duo. Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams have been dangerous this season and that will continue this week.

LaFleur and company want to get Jones involved much more than they have been lately. Williams, on the other hand, has been a major threat as a receiver and has also picked up chunks of yardage on the ground. Green Bay loves what they have seen from the pair of running backs and they are going to get another big game this week.

1. Aaron Rodgers

The most important point comes in two words, Aaron Rodgers. Any time a team has a quarterback like Rodgers, they have a chance to win any football game. Add in the fact that the Packers have seen him playing at an MVP level once again and things are looking up in Green Bay.

In front of the home crowd at Lambeau Field, Rodgers is going to put on a show. He had a four-touchdown performance last week against New York and will throw at least three this week. Rodgers is going to power the offense and will outscore the Redskins handily.
