The Washington Redskins have started the year 0-2. That's come after blowing a big lead against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 1 and dropping a game to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 2 that saw them leading at one point as well.

That's two straight devastating losses to NFC East rivals. Now they head into Week 3 against the Chicago Bears in desperation mode. If they don't win here they'll find themselves 0-3 and in a massive hole in the NFC East.

With that in mind, this can definitely be considered a must-win game. What do the Redskins need to do to pick up that win?

Here are four reasons why they will beat the Bears in Week 3.

4. Mitchell Trubisky

Mitchell Trubisky, Bears

The Redskins defense hasn't looked nearly as good as it was expected to be. They've come out flat at halftime two weeks in a row.

However, that's come against two legitimate MVP candidates in Carson Wentz and Dak Prescott. I'm not completely bashing on Trubisky here, but he's not exactly at that level yet.

In fact, over two games so far, Trubisky has completed 58.3% of his passes for just 348 yards and no touchdowns (one interception).

Safe to say, he's not exactly instilling fear into opposing defenders at the moment.

The Redskins should pounce on this. Their pass rush needs to get going and what a great opportunity to do so. Trubisky has shown this year that he'll panic under pressure. Bring the heat as often as possible and see if it can generate some plays.

Washington's secondary hasn't looked good but they should be able to benefit from Trubisky's struggles at the moment.

3. Terry McLaurin and Trey Quinn

Terry McLaurin

Wait, do the Redskins actually have some legit receivers? Yes, yes they do.

A lot of Washington fans already believed Terry McLaurin and Trey Quinn were going to be good. This good, this early on though?

McLaurin's looking like a legitimate number one. He's an absolute burner that can fly past a defense and has fantastic route-running skills. However, he's also shown a lot of toughness and good hands, with the ability to make some solid grabs.

Quinn, on the other hand, is a great slot receiver. He has good hands and is a good route runner. He's very reliable and finds a way to get open. That's literally exactly what you'd ask for from your slot.

Those two have helped to spread out the offense a little more and make a passing game that many expected to be terrible to look solid through two games.

They'll continue their strong seasons in Week 3 and give the Redskins a really nice boost.

2. Coaching

greg manusky

The Washington coaching staff hasn't looked good to this point. In fact, they've looked downright bad.

Jobs might be on the line though. The defense has looked terrible and Jay Gruden's already had to answer questions about making changes to the staff.

Greg Manusky's going to have to go into his bag of tricks and show that he can make a defense look good. He's in desperation mode and will do just that.

As mentioned earlier, the Redskins will want to pounce on Trubisky. Manusky will use that to his advantage. Get at the quarterback and play tight coverage. Look for Ryan Kerrigan to make his presence known.

Don't give him a chance to get throws off quickly. Do that by blitzing and pressing the receivers. Week 3 will look vastly different from the rest of the season so far when it comes to defensive schemes.

Meanwhile, Gruden will continue opening up the playbook more (he did so last week a little bit). He'll also go to Adrian Peterson more (attempting to dispel the rumors that he's not a fan).

This will open up the play action game and get the playmakers (mainly McLaurin) more chances on deep balls.

1. Offensive Line

Ereck Flowers

You know what's been surprisingly solid? The offensive line of the Redskins. What's more surprising is that the left side has been the strongest side. Morgan Moses and Brandon Scherff haven't been bad at all, but they've struggled at times and seem to pick up the majority of the penalties.

Meanwhile, Donald Penn and Ereck Flowers have been good. Dare I say it, Flowers has been excellent. He's flourished at guard so far and has made some exceptional blocks.

The offensive line has kept Case Keenum right-side-up so far. That's been huge. He's a competent quarterback that can produce well enough when given a chance. So far, he's gotten that chance and it's great for their passing game. He's giving the young receivers an opportunity to grow and they're doing it quickly.

Washington's offensive line can't be overlooked in that success. They'll continue blocking well in Week 3, and it will be one of the main reasons they beat the Bears.

Keeping Khalil Mack and the Chicago defense in check isn't easy, but the Redskins are up to the challenge.
