Even with the great story it built up during the first four seasons, Game of Thrones faltered slowly. Its decline culminated in a final season that saw Jon Snow kill Daenerys Targaryen after the latter went mad in conquering King's Landing. This led to an ending of Snow being banished beyond the Wall as punishment for his crime. But while fans have accepted this as a conclusion to a saga that deserved more, it turns out there could be more soon as news of a spinoff show revolving around Snow recently came out. If ever it happens, here are the things we want to see in it.

Things we hope to see in a Jon Snow Game of Thrones spinoff show

4. The world Beyond the Wall

Back during the eight-season run of Game of Thrones, fans got to see a fair amount of the Seven Kingdoms and the most important locations in Essos. While these places were given sufficient screentime, there's still a lot left to explore when it comes to the world Beyond the Wall.

Since Jon Snow was banished to this place after murdering Daenerys, it only stands to reason that this part of Westeros will be explored further. Along with the location itself, there's also the opportunity to discover new cultures, groups of people, discover the true history of giants, and other mysteries this location has to offer to fans of the franchise. In any case, a host of great stories can come forth from Beyond the Wall and enrich the potential spinoff show of everyone's favorite bastard.

3. A resolution to the White Walkers

Even during the very first episode, the White Walkers have been very present in Game of Thrones. That's why most fans felt frustrated that the ending to their story involved a battle and a quick death to the Night King, courtesy of Arya Stark. There was no motivation, no evil plan, and no deeper revelation about their true nature in the show. In the end, they only served as the big bad villain the heroes need to overcome.

A Jon Snow spinoff show can remedy that problem left behind by Game of Thrones. Whether it's done as an anecdote, in a historical exposition, or even as part of the overall story arc itself, there's really a lot that can be done to fix the convoluted mess of the White Walkers. If this is done, expect fans to be more forgiving of how they were treated in GoT.

2. The North and the Six Kingdoms

Game of Thrones ended with The North breaking away to form its own nation. This led to King Bran Stark ruling over the Six Kingdoms instead of seven.

The potential return of Jon Snow to the fold will surely have a good reason behind it. And whatever this reason is, it can be a massive one that involves The North and the Six Kingdoms. It can be a conflict that leads to another great war or an outside force invading Westeros from Beyond the Wall, from Essos, or from the lands that lie West.

Whatever the case may be, there should be the usual politics, intrigue, and scheming between the different Houses to truly make this world an interesting one. The brains behind this spinoff should set the stage correctly, add a lot of tension and drama, and drop Jon Snow right in the middle of it. If done well, fans can expect the world of The North and the Six Kingdoms to be far more interesting than the one Game of Thrones left behind.

1. A better character arc for Jon Snow

Let's face it, Jon Snow definitely deserved better than what the Game of Thrones finale handed him years ago. After being built up as the face of the franchise, the final season threw all that momentum away and gave him a conclusion no one expected. Well, if the rumors are true and a Jon Snow spinoff show becomes a reality, a better arc will surely be in the cards for The Prince That Was Promised.

Everyone loves a good redemption story and Jon Snow should be the primary candidate for one. The show's creators can give everyone a good point of view of what life has been like since being banished and all demons he struggles with after all the battles he fought. Again, with the right reason, have him come back to Westeros where he could overcome all of what he has gone through to become the larger-than-life hero Snow was always meant to be.

With these things in mind, it's really hard for the Jon Snow spinoff show to fail. Everyone loves the character and is rooting for him to get the story he rightfully deserves. If the franchise plays its cards right with this potential series and House of the Dragon, the demand for more Game of Thrones-related shows will be bonkers.
