The San Francisco 49ers' (6-6) wide receiver Deebo Samuel is available to play against the Cincinnati Bengals (7-5) for Week 14 of the NFL. Samuel is coming from a groin injury, which sidelined him last week against the Seattle Seahawks, a game that the 49ers lost, 23-30. As per Adam Schefter, Samuel is officially listed as questionable against the Bengals, but is expected to play and take the field.

Samuel has been having quite the season for himself, as he leads the 49ers in catches, receiving yards, yards per catch, receiving touchdowns, yards per carry, rushing touchdowns, and yards from scrimmage. Samuel has so far logged in 1,006 receiving yards (18.0 yards per carry) for five receiving touchdowns, as well as 203 rushing yards on 25 rush attempts, for five rushing touchdowns.

The .500 49ers currently sit at third in the NFC West, just below the 8-4 Los Angeles Rams and the 10-2 Arizona Cardinals. Evidently, the return of Samuel would be a huge boost for the 49ers, as Samuel has produced extremely well for the team. In Samuel's last game he played in—the 49ers' match against the Minnesota Vikings—he notched two rushing touchdowns, on 66 rushing yards and six rushing attempts. Samuel's offensive skill is undoubtedly of significant importance to his squad, as he may be just what the doctor ordered. However, Samuel will have to step it up even more against the Bengals, as the 49ers will still be without fellow cornerbacks Emmanuel Moseley and Dontae Johnson. Regardless, Sunday's game against the Bengals will be Deebo Samuel's chance to show San Francisco fans that the groin injury is a non-issue for him moving forward.
