The San Francisco 49ers were less than a quarter away from lifting the Vince Lombardi trophy themselves, but their unfortunate fourth-quarter collapse saw them lose what was supposed to be a Super Bowl win.

As the heartbreaking scene unveiled in front of his eyes, 49ers tight end George Kittle made a solemn vow. With a serious voice, he swore that he'll bring the Niners back to the Super Bowl if that's the last thing he'll do.

Warren Sharp captured the moment that would inspire a lot of San Francisco fans (NSFW):

It should be encouraging for fans to hear one of their best players swearing to return to the Super Bowl after this historic collapse. Kittle himself didn't have the best of games, as he finished with 36 yards in four receptions. While he himself wasn't the sole reason the Niners lost, he was a part of an offense that buckled in the fourth.

The road back to the Super Bowl will be a thorny one, but these 49ers have the talent and the drive to take them back to the Promised Land.
