San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is known as a man with few flaws to contrast with his accomplishments on and off the field. However, it appears there is one that sticks out to tight end George Kittle.

Kittle revealed that Garoppolo is not exactly the most communicative person when it comes to texting, via Fox Sports:

“He is the worst texter of all time. I'm telling you, he leaves me on read all the time,” Kittle said. “I'll be like, ‘Hey, Jimmy I got a question, maybe on this play should I run my route like this?' No response, ‘Jimmy, you want to go to a movie?' No response. And then the next day he's like, ‘Yeah, I got your text I just didn't respond. Thanks, Jim. That's awesome.”

Kittle has never been one to pass up the opportunity to praise his quarterback. Of course, that does not mean there are certain traits he can just overlook. The fact that Garoppolo is not one to text back regularly is certainly fitting.

Fortunately, the lack of communication has never been an issue for this pair on the field. Garoppolo has relied on George Kittle as his No. 1 option in the passing game throughout the 2019 NFL season and into the playoffs. It is safe to say that he will be relying on a heavy dosage of his tight end once again in Super Bowl LIV.

The 49ers have a tall task ahead of them as they get set to square off against the Kansas City Chiefs and their high-powered offense. Jimmy Garoppolo and George Kittle will be integral pieces in their efforts to keep up on the scoreboard.
