George Kittle has become one of the league's best tight ends with the San Francisco 49ers and he isn't interested in undergoing any surgeries. After losing in the Super Bowl on Sunday, Kittle will have a surgery-less offseason despite a recent stretch of injuries in 2019.

“I take a couple of weeks off to let the body and the mind get back, as soon as those feel 100 percent, I’ll be rolling,” Kittle said, via Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area.

“It was a great year to be healthy. Nothing that requires any surgeries. Rehab and get the body back to 100 percent. That’s it.”

In Week 9 against the Arizona Cardinals, Kittle sustained a knee and ankle injury early in the game. Even though he appeared to be hindered by the injuries, the 49ers All-Pro tight end would return to the game and produced six receptions for 79 yards and a touchdown.

However, Kittle would be sidelined for San Francisco's next two contests. It was later discovered that Kittle played with a broken bone in his ankle in the Week 9 bout with the Cardinals.

After returning to the field, Kittle finished the season strong for the 49ers. The third-year tight end would end the season with 85 receptions, 1,053 yards, and five touchdowns.

Besides the knee and ankle ailments, it was revealed that Kittle has been playing with a torn labrum for the past two seasons. The tough-nosed tight end refuses to undergo surgery on his shoulder since it would prevent him from working out.

Without a doubt, Kittle has dealt with his fair share of injuries in the past couple of seasons. Nevertheless, Kittle doesn't seem interested in the recovery process after surgeries.
