The San Francisco 49ers and Jimmy Garoppolo have a lot of high expectations for the 2018 season, and with that comes a lot of pressure. In their Week 2 preseason game against the Houston Texans, the first-team offense moved the ball well but struggled getting into the end zone, making it clear there's still plenty to work on.

Garoppolo was encouraged with how the team moved the ball, but he knows there are a lot of little details that still need to be worked out.

“There are a lot of little details that we need to get fixed up before we get back out there,” Garoppolo said, via ESPN.com. “There are a lot of good things. We moved the ball well, but it’s just the little details like that that I think we need to fix up.”

Garoppolo only went 9-of-19 during Saturday's game against the Indianapolis Colts, which isn't great, but he also had a few drops that worked against him. The offense also had a couple of costly penalties that stalled drives. If those occur during the regular season, the coaching staff is going to be very upset.

Usually, starters don't play during the fourth preseason game, and although there hasn't been an official announcement, chances are Garoppolo's next action will be during the first week of the regular season against the Minnesota Vikings.

The Vikings' defense is one of the best in the NFL, so it will be a good early test to see where exactly San Francisco's offense is at this point.
