San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo made headlines for his recent date with porn star Kiara Mia. The evening made him realize just how much attention he has garnered since coming to San Francisco.
In many ways, Garoppolo is still learning the ropes on what it means to be a franchise quarterback. According to ESPN's Nick Wagoner, he acknowledged the fact that he is still getting used to all the attention:

There is plenty of hype surrounding the 49ers going into the 2018 NFL season. The reason for all this sudden optimism is due to Garoppolo's performance down the final stretch of the 2017 campaign. He threw for 1,560 yards, seven touchdowns, and five interceptions while maintaining his flawless starting record.
It goes without saying that San Francisco made quite the investment when they inked him to a five-year, $137.5 million deal this offseason. Not surprisingly, the lucrative contract has resulted in plenty of extra attention for Garoppolo.
Although his night out may have drawn mixed reviews from fans, it is at least encouraging to see that he has realized that everything he does will be under scrutiny. Garropolo has gotten the benefit of the doubt regarding his talent, despite the small sample size. However, that can quickly change if he fails to live up to the hype.
