The San Francisco 49ers, Kyle Shanahan, and Tevin Coleman came into Week 8 against the Carolina Panthers with a 6-0 record. Despite that, many weren't believers. However, it's hard to imagine there are many doubters anymore.

San Francisco did not just beat Carolina, they destroyed them. The 49ers won by a final score of 51-13. Not only did this move their record to 7-0, but it firmly proved that they are very real.

Of course, with 51 points someone had to go off offensively. This week, it was running back Tevin Coleman that went absolutely off.

Coleman ran the ball 11 times for 105 yards and a touchdown. If that's not ridiculous enough, he added 13 more yards and another touchdown on two receptions.

After the game, head coach Kyle Shanahan spoke out on Coleman's big game.

Something that's been extremely beneficial for the 49ers this year has been their abundance of running backs. They have quite a few players that can put up massive games from the position on any given week. Or they could split the load and work together.

Coleman might be the best of the group though and he proved that in Week 8.

Now at 7-0, the 49ers look like one of the best teams in the NFL. They traded for Emmanuel Sanders to help shore up their passing game, but this is still a running offense. That's good news for them as Coleman and company are definitely up for the challenge.

While it will be hard for Coleman to produce this well every week, he's always going to help. The rushing attack will help them put up a lot more Ws this year and Coleman's the anchor. Shanahan knows that his running back is a star, and it showed this week.
