The San Francisco 49ers won in Week 7 but Matt Breida and Marquise Goodwin made early exits with head injuries. Luckily for San Francisco, Breida and Goodwin are both out of concussion protocol on Monday.

By clearing the concussion protocol, both Matt Breida and Marquise Goodwin are already active for Week 8 against the Carolina Panthers. Credit to the 49ers medical staff for being able to get both of them prepared to practice already in less than 24 hours from when they sustained their injuries.

Breida has been a vital weapon for the 49ers this season as they've gotten off to a 6-0 start. The dynamic running back has rushed for 411 yards on 76 attempts and one touchdown on the ground. Along with his rushing stats, Breida has caught 11 passes for 74 yards and another score.

Throughout the 49ers' winning streak, their rushing attack has been the main reason why they've had so much success on offense. The duo of Breida and Tevin Coleman has propelled San Francisco to owning the second-best rushing offense in the NFL.

As for Goodwin, the speedy wideout is one of the only pass-catching options that the 49ers have. Goodwin only has 11 receptions for 181 yards and one touchdown but he is crucial to the passing attack.

When you have a wide receiver who can stretch the field, the offense is able to do a bit more when the defense has to be prepared for the deep ball. Nevertheless, both Breida and Goodwin appear to be on track to play next Sunday versus the Panthers.
