Many players in the league had some notable reactions to the blockbuster trade of Jalen Ramsey going to the Los Angeles Rams. One of the names that chose to chime in was outspoken cornerback, Richard Sherman.

It is an enviable position, to say the least in terms of what Ramsey could be asking for with contract negotiations on the way. The Rams gave up two first-round picks in the upcoming draft as well as a future fourth-rounder to acquire the All-Pro defensive back. And as of now, Ramsey has more of an upper hand over the team in terms of discussions after this trade.

Sherman then said it perfectly as the team chose to forego the route of strong negotiations and give the Pro Bowler whatever he wants. It's a player's dream to have happened as Ramsey will likely get a historic max deal coming his way.

Throw in the fact that he'll be playing with a fellow All-Pro in Aaron Donald and it's just the perfect winning combination for the Florida State product.

But Richard Sherman shouldn't be too envious in his own right. He's on the undefeated San Francisco 49ers and is also paired with one of the best pass rushes in the league.

But the likely massive deal Ramsey will get is enough to make any player feel envious. Especially when it's likely that that player has all of the power in that situation. It's going to be a big payday for the Pro Bowler whenever the team decides to start contract talks.
