The San Francisco 49ers picked up a huge win over the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, but they may have suffered some significant losses in the process.

Offensive lineman Weston Richburg, defensive lineman Dee Ford and cornerbacks Richard Sherman and K'Wayn Williams all left the game with injuries, and according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, Sherman underwent an MRI for his hamstring injury on Monday.

Sherman's status for his team's Week 15 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons is in doubt, but Pelissero notes that Sherman will do all he can to be ready.

The veteran logged a hefty seven tackles in the 48-46 victory over the Saints. On the season overall, he has tallied 53 tackles, three interceptions, 11 passes defended and a defensive touchdown.

Sherman, who played his collegiate football at Stanford, was originally selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the fifth round (154th pick overall) of the 2011 NFL Draft. He spent the first seven years of his career with the Seahawks and developed into one of the best cornerbacks in football, making four Pro Bowl appearances while earning three First-Team All-Pro selections.

Most notable of all was Sherman's role in a dominant defense that led Seattle to a Super Bowl win during the 2013-14 campaign. However, his tenure with the Seahawks came to an end in 2017 after the star suffered a torn Achilles. Sherman signed with the 49ers that ensuing offseason.

The first season Sherman spent in San Francisco was a bit rough, he has bounced back in a major way this season.

The Niners are 11-2 on the year.
