The San Francisco 49ers received some injury updates before their game versus the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. The 49ers will be without running back Elijah Mitchell but will have tight end George Kittle in the squad. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, both were listed as questionable but Kittle will play and Mitchell will be out.

According to ESPN, Kittle was out all week with the issues but has stated that he will do everything he can to play. He has had the pain in his calf since Week 1, and the 49ers win over the Detroit Lions.

In terms of Mitchell, he played in the two opening wins but was not featured in their last game versus the Green Bay Packers. The rookie running back will, most likely, be back next week when the 49ers play the Arizona Cardinals.

Overall, this is a pivotal game for the 49ers. The Seahawks are a division opponent and even though they have the better record going in, it will still be a huge matchup. Of course, they are looking to bounce back from a poor last season and get back to the form of 2019, when they went to the Super Bowl. With a win here, their excellent start would continue and would give 49ers fans a lot of hope going forward!
