Jimmy Garoppolo's much-anticipated postseason career is off to a great start.
Playing in his first playoff game on Saturday, the San Francisco 49ers quarterback led his team to a touchdown on its opening drive in its Divisional Round playoff matchup with the Minnesota Vikings, finding wide receiver Kendrick Bourne for the three-yard score:

Of course, Garoppolo is no stranger to watching playoff football.
He served as a backup to Tom Brady in New England for three years, witnessing Brady lead the Patriots to a pair of Super Bowl championships during his tenure.
However, Garoppolo had never actually appeared in a playoff game himself until Saturday.
The 28-year-old played his first full season as a starter this year, throwing for 3,978 yards, 27 touchdowns and 13 interceptions while completing 69.1 percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 102.
Garoppolo led the Niners to an NFC West division title, but he has much loftier goals than that.
