For the third time in his storied NFL career, Richard Sherman will go to the Super Bowl. For the first time in his storied NFL career, he will do so as a member of the San Francisco 49ers.

By defeating the Green Bay Packers 37-24 in the NFC Championship, the 49ers are set up to face the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIV on Feb 2 in Miami. Sherman was elated to get the 49ers to the promised land.

Watch below. Sherman was overcome by the emotions of getting the 49ers to the Super Bowl.

Sherman caught a game-sealing interception on Aaron Rodgers in the 49ers win. He locked down his side of the field for the majority of the game, only allowing a big reception to Davante Adams that would set up a Packers touchdown.

Sherman is happy to get the 49ers to the Super Bowl. His work isn't over, however, as he and the 49ers have the tough task of defending Patrick Mahomes next.
