The San Francisco 49ers paid dearly for fumbling near their own end zone. Fortunately, their defense successfully managed to turn the tables on Rashaad Penny and the Seattle Seahawks.

Cornerback K'Waun'Williams was able to get the ball back once again by forcing a fumble on the handoff to running back Rashaad Penny, via NFL Twitter:

The 49ers defense was able to pick up right where they left off before halftime by forcing yet another fumble and giving the offense a chance to score. Although the offense has largely struggled to take advantage against Rashaad Penny and the Seahawks, it is further proof of why they are considered to be the most formidable group in the NFL.

San Francisco has had more than enough opportunities to create some distance between them and Seattle in this star-studded NFC West showdown. However, it appears the defense may ultimately end up having to find a way to pull this one out.
