The NFL schedules are now out and fans are circling dates on their calendar for certain games. The Kansas City Chiefs are hoping for a repeat of their 2018 season in 2019 but with a different ending.

The eight games at home for the Chiefs in the upcoming season are as follows:

  • Denver Broncos
  • Oakland Raiders
  • Los Angeles Chargers
  • Baltimore Ravens
  • Green Bay Packers
  • Houston Texans
  • Indianapolis Colts
  • Minnesota Vikings

On the road, the Chiefs will face the following teams:

  • Denver Broncos
  • Oakland Raiders
  • Los Angeles Chargers
  • Chicago Bears
  • Detroit Lions
  • Jacksonville Jaguars
  • New England Patriots
  • Tennessee Titans

When they make the NFL schedule, there are certain requirements that need to be met. For one, each team has to face an out of conference division and a division within their conference that isn't the one they are already in.

For the Chiefs, they will square off against the NFC North and the AFC South. The Chiefs are an exciting team to watch regardless of who they play.

But here are five games that are must-watch television in 2019.

5. Chicago Bears

First and foremost, we get to see Matt Nagy take on his former mentor in Andy Reid. Second, the Bears tough defense against the Chiefs high-powered offense will be interesting to watch.

Khalil Mack

Last season was Nagy's first season as the Bears head coach. He led Chicago to a 12-4 record but they ended up losing in the Wild Card round to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Nagy and company will want to show the world that 2018 wasn't a fluke and what better way to do that than beating the Chiefs?

We also get to witness if Mitchell Trubisky can keep up with the high-scoring offense led by Patrick Mahomes on the other side.

4. Baltimore Ravens

The Chiefs will take on the Ravens at home at Arrowhead Stadium in 2019. Last season, these teams faced each other in Week 14.

The Chiefs came out on top but Lamar Jackson and the Ravens wouldn't leave without a fight. The game went into overtime with Harrison Butker nailing a 35-yard game winning field goal for Kansas City.

Lamar Jackson, Ravens

Now, the Ravens will want to change their fortune against the Chiefs and beat them. The Ravens defense may have lost C.J. Mosley, Za'Darius Smith, and Eric Weddle, but they are still a talented group.

Jackson will face off against Mahomes again hoping to prove he can throw with the best of them and he isn't just a running quarterback.

3. Los Angeles Chargers

We always get good games between the Chargers and the Chiefs seemingly every season. Last season, these teams split their season series with the total point differential being just 11 points.

Before last season's loss to the Chargers, the Chiefs won their last nine games against Los Angeles. Kansas City will want to begin a new win streak against the Chargers while the Chargers will want to extend their streak.

Philip Rivers, Chargers

Also, we get to watch two gunslingers in Phillip Rivers and Mahomes throw the ball all over the field against each other. It doesn't get much better than that.

2. Green Bay Packers

As a fan of the NFL, the two quarterbacks who are the most fun to watch are probably Aaron Rodgers and Mahomes. In 2019, we are treated to both of these guys facing each other.

The Chiefs will host the Packers as one of their home games in 2019. The Packers will have a new level of energy to them with Matt LaFleur taking the headset after Mike McCarthy was let go after 13 seasons with the team.

LaFleur will get a chance to show his offensive prowess against arguably the best offensive team in the NFL. The good thing is, we should see a ton of throwing between Rodgers and Mahomes.

Aaron Rodgers, Packers

There's no doubt we will see many jaw-dropping throws between the two All-Pro quarterbacks.

1. New England Patriots

Number one should come as a surprise to no one. We get a rematch of the AFC Championship game of a season ago. Get your popcorn ready to watch Brady and Mahomes face off for the third time.

Of course, the Patriots took down the Chiefs en route to their sixth Super Bowl victory in the Brady/Belichick era. It was a heartbreaking loss for Kansas City as they fell short in overtime to the Super Bowl champs.

Also, the Chiefs also fell to the Patriots when the two teams faced each other in Week 6. Mahomes will want to get his first victory against Brady in his young career.

Patrick Mahomes, Tom Brady

It goes without saying that the Patriots are the best dynasty in NFL history, probably even sports history. The Chiefs will want to let New England know that they are the next dynasty to rule the AFC.
