After Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker's controversial ejection on Tuesday against the Los Angeles Lakers, fans flocked to Twitter to share some of the funniest memes.

NBA reporter Josiah Johnson hinted that Lakers owner Jeanie Buss might have something to do with Booker's two quick technical fouls.

He also shared a screencap from Martin Scorsese's Goodfellas, particularly the scene where Joe Pesci's character was about to be betrayed and assassinated.

One fan posted a meme to showcase the difference between LeBron James and Devin Booker in the eyes of the referees.

One posted an imaginary scenario of Booker in the Suns' locker room after being ejected.

The same fan went to the archives to show how Shaq's reaction from way back is exactly the same regarding the Booker ejection.

It's unclear what triggered the referees to slap Booker with a technical. Some clips show that he might have said something to the referees. But other angles show that he received the tech right after throwing a bounce pass. Whatever it is that he did, the referees didn't appreciate it.

Finally, one fan pulled out a clip of Charles Barkley from the 1995 film Forget Paris. It seemed like a perfect clip as Barkley was still a member of the Suns back then. And of course, it features a tussle between him and an official.

Booker's ejection was the talk amongst NBA diehards on Tuesday. Almost all of them were in agreement that referees nowadays are soft like charmin. But rather than getting infuriated at them, fans decided to just have some good old meme fun.
