Colin Kaepernick was given a workout by the NFL that will take place on Saturday at the Atlanta Falcons' facility. On Friday, it was reported that at least 24 teams will be in attendance to watch the free-agent quarterback display his skills.

In addition, there were 11 teams that were committed to attending the workout on Thursday. Those teams include the Arizona Cardinals, Cleveland Browns, Denver Broncos, Detroit Lions, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, New York Giants, New York Jets, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Washington Redskins, and the Falcons.

Regardless of whether or not the teams attend, the video of the workout will be sent to all 32 teams in the NFL. Therefore, all of the head coaches and general managers in the league will have an opportunity to do their due diligence on Kaepernick.

With 24 teams confirmed to be at the workout, there is the possibility that there are eight teams who are choosing not to go. Who could those eight teams possibly be?

8. Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers are unlikely to be one of the 24 teams who will be watching Kaepernick on Saturday. Under new head coach Matt LaFleur, the Packers are atop the NFC North with an 8-2 record.

While they've won games, it's important to point out that LaFleur and Aaron Rodgers seem to have a healthy relationship. LaFleur knows that sending a team official to watch Kaepernick could rub Rodgers the wrong way.

7. Los Angeles Rams

During the offseason, the Los Angeles Rams showed their commitment to Jared Goff by signing him to a four-year, $134 million extension. Provided that, it is hard to imagine that Los Angeles is considering the option of bringing in Kaepernick.

Also, behind Goff, the Rams feel confident in Blake Bortles as their backup to Goff. Kaepernick also wouldn't benefit from playing behind the decimated offensive line of the Rams.

6. Philadelphia Eagles

Similarly to Goff and the Rams, the Philadelphia Eagles chose to sign Carson Wentz to a four-year, $128 million extension. Along with signing Wentz, the Eagles also allowed Nick Foles to depart in free agency to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

By doing so, Philadelphia's front office showed that they believe in Wentz to be their long-term solution at quarterback.

5. Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jaguars recently had to make a tough decision at the quarterback position between Foles and rookie Gardner Minshew. After some thought, Doug Marrone chose to give Foles his job back after being out with a shoulder injury since Week 1.

Jacksonville spent $50 million in guaranteed money to sign Foles in the offseason. Bringing in Kaepernick would only make the decision under center even tougher for the organization.

4. San Francisco 49ers

The last time that Kaepernick played in the NFL, he suited up for the San Francisco 49ers. With that in mind, it's unlikely that the team that released him three years ago is willing to bring him back.

Additionally, Kyle Shanahan seems to be fixated on Jimmy Garoppolo being his quarterback for the foreseeable future.

3. Houston Texans

There are going to be quite a few teams who choose to not show up to Kaepernick's workout due to having a reliable quarterback. Among those teams, the Houston Texans are a team that is set with Deshaun Watson under center.

Along with that, the Texans are a team that don't have an official general manager, so it's unlikely they choose to attend.

2. New Orleans Saints

While there are 24 teams who are expected to attend, there are only two teams who are confirmed to not be in attendance. One of those teams is the New Orleans Saints.

On Friday, Sean Payton immediately shut down the possibility of New Orleans being in attendance. That likely comes due to the Saints having Drew Brees and Teddy Bridgewater on their roster.

1. Dallas Cowboys

Besides the Saints, the Dallas Cowboys are the other team in the NFL who has removed themselves from the Kaepernick sweepstakes. Earlier in the week, Jerry Jones went on a local radio show to exclaim that Dallas wouldn't be sending anyone to watch Kaepernick throw.

In addition, the team has shown that they want to sign Dak Prescott to a long-term deal. Therefore, it would be counterproductive to add another quarterback into the equation.
