The Tennessee Titans saw more history be made in their backfield this week. Star running back Derrick Henry was exceptional yet again in his week 17 performance against their AFC South division rival Houston Texans. They won the game 41-38 and will be playing in the postseason.

Henry became not only surpassed the 2,000 yards rushing in a season milestone, but also became the first running back to rush for 200 yards against the same team in back-to-back opportunities.

On the daily Locked On Titans podcast, Tyler Rowland discussed Henry’s monster performance in his weekly “Titan-Up and Titan-Down” segment. Of course, Henry was one of the players receiving the “Titan-Up” honor.

Rowland: Derrick Henry of course, despite that weird fumble, he has got to not get so comfortable when the Titans are blowing open holes. I mean, it was a monster hole, so he probably did not think he was going to get contacted. You just have to be careful; you just have to be careful. You cannot do that in the playoffs, but 34 carries, 250 yards, two touchdowns, just an absolute freaking monster, man. He is the first running back ever to go over 200 yards against the same team two times in a row. I mean, what else is there to say? We are watching a Hall of Famer. We are watching one of the best running backs in the history of the sport. That is what we are getting right now. He is a freak; he is a freak. He is the king, man. A monster Titan-Up for the king.
