There aren't a lot of things you can do to stop Los Angeles Rams DT Aaron Donald. Donald has been one of the best defensive players in the league for years and if you're on the opposing line, the best option might be to send a couple of bodies to try and stop the DT.

Earlier this month, Aaron Donald of the Los Angeles Rams was wishfully thinking that the opposing offensive line would actually allow him to operate in single-coverage. And in their Week 5 match-up against the Washington Football Team, Donald's wish came true as he was given a one-on-one matchup on each of the four plays which resulted to four sacks from the former sacks leader.

“When I get opportunities to get those one-on-one blocks, I have to take advantage of it and I have to continue to do that, continue to get myself better and continue to try to be productive,” Donald said (via NBC Sports).

On Sunday's 30-10 win over Washington, Donald brought his A-game and took advantage of the offensive line's lapses. He tallied a season-high of four sacks en route to being named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week.

But, the 6-time Pro Bowler is choosing to have a short memory and move passed that epic performance against Washington.

“That’s last week,” Donald added “So we are focused on playing the 49ers and trying to have some success that week. So that’s the main focus.”

With the way he's been playing lately, it might be wise for the defending NFC champions to send more than one man to contain Aaron Donald.
