The Green Bay Packers are on a roll in the early stages of the 2020 NFL season. The dangerous offense led by long-time quarterback Aaron Rodgers didn't skip a beat and has been showing its dominant form thus far.

The Wisconsin-based squad racked up a total of 43 points against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 1 followed by a 42-point outing against the Detroit Lions in Week 2. Running back Aaron Jones was then asked whether Rodgers was any different this year to which he alluded that the two-time NFL MVP is simply “more focused”.

The 2019 NFL rushing touchdowns co-leader also addressed the elephant in the room when asked if the extra focus was due to the arrival of a new high-draft pick quarterback.

“It’s not that,” Jones continued. He mentioned that they were more determined to get the job done since the team was a game away from reaching the Super Bowl last season.

The fourth-year ball-carrier continues to be one of the most dangerous weapons in the Packers offense. He ran a total of 168 rushing yards on 18 carries along with two touchdowns in their come from behind win against the Lions. His stellar play was highlighted by his 75-yard touchdown which was the Packers' longest rushing play since 2004.

With the lack of reliable options on the wings, expect Rodgers to lean more on Jones' ground game to take on the offensive load in the coming games. The Packers will aim to keep their unblemished record as they face the powerhouse New Orleans Saints on September 27.
