After 25 years since the release of “Happy Gilmore,” lead actor Adam Sandler decided to give his character's unique swing another try.

Now we don't know if the ball ended up in the water or if it's a hole-in-one, but based on the sound it looked like a solid drive. In response to Sandler's video, Ben Stiller who had a cameo role in the movie gave his compliments, while remaining in character.

“Happy Gilmore,” the story of a failed ice hockey player who transitions to the golf scene to get back his grandmother's foreclosed house, made over $38 million at the box office back in 1996.

Aside from some similarities in the swing, the two sports could not be any more different. Hockey is a team sport, while golf is played by an individual. Ice hockey is played well on the ice and golfers usually enjoy warm, sunny temperatures. Lastly, hockey is a physical sport, where one can get crushed by players built like linebackers. Golfers are safe from such harm, but in the movie, Gilmore's mentor did lose his hand to an alligator.

Due to his hockey background, Gilmore is able to pull off powerful drives never seen before, much to the chagrin of his rival, Shooter McGavin, who is mentioned by Adam Sandler in his video. Eventually, Gilmore triumphs over McGavin by sinking a near-impossible trick shot.

Stiller plays an abusive orderly, who forces the inhabitants of the nursing home to craft quilts as part of their arts and crafts time.

“Happy Gilmore” remains a classic comedy two and a half decades later, and Sandler is giving the people what they want.
