In case you somehow haven't heard, the biggest show of the summer, Forbidden Door, is scheduled for later this month, with the biggest stars in AEW and New Japan Pro Wrestling set to face off in all sorts of dream matches.

We'll probably see “Hangman” Adam Page and Adam Cole will be going against Kazuchika Okada, Jon Moxley most likely take on Hiroshi Tanahashi, and matches featuring members of United Empire, CHAOS, Best Friends, and The Elite.

But could we see an AEW wrestler join the prestigious Bullet Club? After all, if there's one thing Bullet Club likes to do, it's adding – or eliminating – a surprise member to/from their ranks when no one expects it. If that is the route the faction wants to go, these three AEW wrestlers would be very interesting additions indeed.

Will the Bullet Club gain a new member at Forbidden Door?

3. Sammy Guevara

Goodness, if there's one wrestler in AEW who severely needs to shake things up midway through 2022, it's Sammy Guevara.

Since leaving the Inner Circle back in January, Guevara has found himself in a seemingly endless pursuit of or defense protecting the TNT Championship. He took part in the final AEW feud – at least for now – featuring Cody Rhodes, first in winning the interim TNT Championship and then icing him out of the promotion with a massive ladder match victory to decide the title once and for all on January 26th.

Since then, Guevara has feuded with Scorpio Sky, kissed Tay Conti, and just generally relished in the reactions to his heelishness in a way that Rhodes was never able to fully embrace.

But now, with his ability to challenge Sky for the TNT Championship officially gone, why not take a massive swing in a completely different direction and make Guevara the latest addition to Bullet Club?

Now granted, some will point to Guevara's lack of connection to The Club up to this point, citing the fact that Guevara has actually wrestled against current/former members of the faction like Kenny Omega, Hangman Page, and the Young Bucks, but a lack of affiliation didn't stop Jay White from recruiting Chris Bey in Impact or from Ace Austin joining up with El Phantasmo and company during the Best of the Super Juniors tournament in Japan that also featured AEW's Wheeler Yuta. If White and Gedo, the NJPW booker who also is a member of Bullet Club, like Guevara's style and think crowds in Japan would appreciate it too, Chris Jerico's former mentee could be the newest “Bone Soldier” in AEW.

2. “Hangman” Adam Page

According to Adam Cole, if you were once a member of Bullet Club, then you are always a member of Bullet Club. While that logic may be flawed, as plenty of folks, from A.J. Styles to Kenny Omega, Adam Cole, and even founding members G.O.D. have been kicked out of the group, it's a good general fuel to follow, even if it might not be true, depending on the situation.

Either way, if Gedo and Tony Khan want to shake things up and give one of their former world champions something very interesting to do indeed, they could do a whole heck of a lot worse than have Adam Page re-join the Bullet Club and turn on The Undisputed Elite members who have been pasturing like members of The Club without being official members.

Confusing? Maybe a little bit, but if Jay White, EL-P, or even the Good Brothers come to the ring for the three-way bout between Kazuchika Okada, Adam Cole, and Adam Page and ultimately side with the “Hangman,” it would get an incredible pop the likes of which hasn't been heard in the United Center since C.M. Punk made his return to the ring.

Putting “Hanger” back in a black “Bone Soldier” shirt could create a whole new Bullet Club Civil War the likes of which fans haven't seen since before AEW even came into existence, and could provide opportunities for a number of stateside NJPW stars to make regular appearances on Dynamite and Rampage for the foreseeable future.

1. Swerve Strickland

In case you haven't heard, Keith Lee isn't too happy with Swerve Strickland right now. One week after christening their tag team “Swerve in our Glory,” the former Hit Row head honcho swerved his partner to eliminate him from the Casino Battle Royal. But why? Could it be that Strickland has joined forces with Team Taz, who have long been after Lee? Or maybe he doesn't like being the less popular half of a tag team?

Or maybe, just maybe, he's Bullet Club bound.

Maybe when Lee confronts Strickland, he will be jumped by American-based Bullet Club members like EL-P and Hikuelo, and AEW could throw an impromptu 3-on-3 match of Lee with Team Taz vs. Bullet Club early in the Forbidden Door card. After becoming a star in America, it only makes sense for Strickland to turn his sights on the international markets.
