Danhausen is a rascal. Though he's clearly coded as a babyface both via his presentation, the tunnel he comes out of, and the reactions of his adoring fanbase, Danhausen has consistently found ways to get into other people's business during his time in AEW, whether that's interjecting into the Beach Break match between Adam Cole and Orange Cassidy, his feud-turned-friendship with Hook, and his pension for cursing anyone who crosses his path without rhyme or reason.

And though he wasn't booked for Forbidden Door, probably because Evil was off the card too, Danhausen still found a way to make his presence known on the pre-show, where he “gifted” the Gunn Club a commissioned new theme from the duo of Two Minutes to Late Night and Colin Young that made Colten and Austin so embarrassed that they ran into the back in a futile attempt to shut it down.

This, understandably, led to some hard feelings between the Assboys, Gunn Club, and Danhausen, who they challenged to a trios match despite not having obvious partners for a trios tag.

So, when you're a singles wrestler in need of tag team backup, why not ask the “top guys in the business” for some much-needed backup? Certainly can't hurt, right?

Has Danhausen driven a wedge between AEW's premier father-sons trio?

When Danhausen announced his tag team partners for Blood and Guts as being the current IWPG/Ring of Honor/Lucha Libre AAA tag team champions FTR, it generated a pop in the Littel Ceasers Arena only overshadowed by the return of “Jane” to Orange Cassidy's presentation and his own ghoulish introduction.

The “Top Guys”, “7 Star FTR” united with the “Very Nice, Very Evil”-est man on the roster? Goodness, after being stated to perform with CM Punk during his summer-plus as champion, did Tony Khan actually find an upgrade for the top babyfaces on the roster? Are we rapidly approaching a day where every segment on a show, be that Ramage or Dynamite, is Danhausen related?

If so, the next feud that might just get the Danhausen seal of approval is none other than one between the Brothers Gunn Colten and Austin and the trio of The Acclaimed and… Billy Gunn?

Goodness, cursing folks is one thing but Danhausen is wrecking homes now? Goodness, very evil indeed.

The trios match started off innocently enough, with FTR taking their foes to task whenever tagged in and Danhausen taking the abuse when he found himself in the ring. Though the match ultimately ended with Danhausen securing the pin, things got incredibly interesting just before the final bell as, despite coming to the ring in a wheelchair, Anthony Bowens leaped from his seat and attempted to decapitate Danhausen in the middle of the ring, swinging his crutch as a weapon. Instead, he hit Austin Gunn, who dropped to the floor for the easy pin.

This created ignited some heat inside the younger Gunns who, after taking a crutch to the face, understandably blamed Bowens for the loss. After some infighting, the Gunn family patriarch, Billy, threw his son to the ground and instead offered support to Bowens and Max Caster, whom he has become incredibly fond of over the past few weeks.

Thoroughly rejected, the Gunns turned their backs on their father and walked to the back alone, with their future as both a trio and as a family very much up in the air.
