“The Best in the World” is officially back in business.

Former WWE superstar CM Punk made his triumphant return to the wrestling arena, defeating Darby Allin during All Out. Punk notched his first win in seven years, marking a momentous occasion for the electric wrestling veteran.

The win did not come easy for the 42-year-old CM Punk, though. Not in the slightest. Allin came out swinging, but Punk retaliated over and over again, swinging the youngster into the ring post for a devastating hit.

Not to be outdone, Darby Allin returned the favor later on in the match by jumping from the top rope to hit a dazed Punk, sending both fighters flying.

In the end, though, it was CM Punk who prevailed, nailing a vintage Go to Sleep that made die-hard fans swoon with nostalgia. Despite his age and long hiatus from professional wrestling, “The Best In The World” proved he still got what it takes to compete, and he earned the respect of another wrestling legend in the process.

Many old-school fans were already looking forward to CM Punk's return to the ring after his electric appearance on AEW a few nights ago. Now, after that intense fight against one of the best fighters the AEW has to offer, the Chicago-born legend is poised to make waves anew.

One thing is for sure, though. Whenever AEW goes live, and CM Punk faces off against anyone, it's going to be time to “Go To Sleep” for that poor guy.
