Hangman Adam Page just lost his title as AEW World Champion to CM Punk at this past Sunday's Double or Nothing event, but he's already set for a return to the ring. It was announced Wednesday night that Page will fight NJPW's David Finlay on next week's Dynamite.

This announcement came during Wednesday night's Dynamite, which saw Punk make his first appearance after becoming the AEW World Champion. He teamed up with FTR to face Max Caster and The Gunn Club, ultimately coming away victorious. It was also revealed that Punk will face Hiroshi Tanahashi at Forbidden Door.

As for Page, he's ready to get back at it against Finlay after losing the title to Punk. Page was AEW World Champion for 197 days after he took the title from Kenny Omega back in November. He held the crown through six defenses before losing it to Punk on a seventh try.

Page's match against Finlay is the first one announced for next week's AEW Dynamite. It should have a good amount of hype given it's Hangman's first match since losing the World Champion title to Punk. We'll see if Page will get back to his winning ways against Finlay on Wednesday night.
