AEW star Jeff Hardy was arrested on Monday morning after driving drunk on a Florida highway and was later hit with three charges, including driving on a canceled/suspended/revoked license and driving while under the influence, marking the third time he's been given a DUI in the last three years.

On Tuesday, AEW president Tony Khan released a statement regarding Hardy's incident:

“We were able to resume contact with Jeff Hardy this afternoon. AEW does not condone Jeff’s alleged behavior. We’ve made it clear to Jeff that we’ll assist him in getting treatment for substance abuse issues, which he has indicated that he’s open to receiving. In the interim, he is suspended without pay, and he can only return to AEW upon successfully completing treatment and maintaining his sobriety.

Things got so serious that three cops pulled their guns on Hardy after he was pulled over for swerving all over the road. Khan noted that the AEW has gotten in touch with Hardy and will help him through rehab. He will not be able to return to the ring until he takes the treatment for substance abuse.

It's also important to note the AEW is suspending Hardy without pay. The most concerning part are that he was actually scheduled for a fight on AEW Dynamite later this week but it's clear Hardy is dealing with many other issues in his personal life. It's expected Khan will be asked about this because it's clear he wasn't fit to actually fight in the first place.
