The Boston Celtics had a pretty disappointing regular season, winning just 49 games in spite of many predicting that they would break 60 wins.

The Celtics ultimately ended up with the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference standings, two spots below where they were a year ago.

However, Boston has gotten off to a great start in these playoffs, jumping out to a commanding 3-0 lead over the Indiana Pacers in its first-round Eastern Conference playoff series.

Celtics big man Al Horford says that it has been important for the team to hit the reset button in this postseason:

“I think it’s great for our group because we can’t let what happened in the regular season define who we are as a group,” said Horford, according to Chris Forsberg of NBC Sports Boston. “… I think our guys are just trying to take advantage of this opportunity.”

On Friday night, Boston did something it only did once all last postseason: win a game on the road. The C's grinded out a 104-96 win over the Pacers at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, with Horford finishing with 16 points, eight rebounds and four assists while making several big shots late in the game.

Horford was battling an illness in Game 2, but he looked just fine in Game 3.

Now, the C's will have an opportunity to accomplish something they have never done in the Brad Stevens era: sweep a team in the playoffs.

The Celtics will look to finish off the Pacers in Game 4 in Indiana on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. ET.
