After two games in their first round series against the Chicago Bulls, the Boston Celtics have not looked like a celebrated number one seed.

The urgency level inside the Celtics’ locker room probably hasn’t peaked this much with the thought of all their hard work from training camp up to this point, being threatened to slip away in quick and unexpected fashion.

As such, former All-Star center Al Horford understands how to put things in perspective heading into a crucial Game 3 in Chicago, per Teddy Greenstein of the Chicago Tribune.

“I thought we did a better job in the last game,”

“We need to be better,” Horford said. “We have an opportunity (Friday). It will be hectic here. We're all we have, so we're fighting for our lives.”

The Celtics are actually controlling the game at the United Center thus far heading into the fourth quarter. Rajon Rondo isn’t playing tonight due to a fractured thumb, but that doesn’t affect the pride of the Beantown boys one bit.

A win is a win and Horford, along with his teammates, are now hardpressed to live up to expectations after a stellar regular season.
