Week 1 of the college football season came and went and there were some upsets, of course. But, there were some big names that absolutely balled out, including Alabama quarterback Bryce Young who led the Crimson Tide to a victory over Miami.

On Sunday, the latest Heisman Trophy odds were released, and Young passed Oklahoma star Spencer Rattler for the top spot after the first weekend of games.

Sure, it's only the first week and a ton can change, but Young and Alabama got off to a terrific start. The sophomore quarterback and Mac Jones replacement went 27-38 with 344 yards and four touchdown passes without turning the ball over.

As for Spencer Rattler, his performance wasn't as strong. The Sooners just barely edged Tulane and Rattled went 30-39 for 304 yards and a touchdown but did throw two interceptions.

So, of course, the Crimson Tide gunslinger is the top spot on the list for now. Behind them is North Carolina quarterback Sam Howell, whose team suffered one of the biggest upsets of the weekend. Howell, a likely first-round selection, finished 17-32 for 208 yards with one touchdown and three picks while being sacked six times.

In fact, Howell's odds dropped drastically after a porous performance and upset to Virginia Tech. There is a long way to go, but the Alabama quarterback has gotten off to a terrific start.
