The Alan Wake Remastered release date has been leaked for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox Series X.

Some rumors and leaks suggest that a remastered version of Alan Wake could be arriving soon. In fact, pre-orders are now available for the action-adventure game on Taiwanese websites.

No official announcements have come from either Remedy Entertainment, THQ Nordic, or Nitro Games, however. It’s interesting to know that console versions are available for pre-order. Both Taiwanese websites such as Rakuten and Ruten are advertising the PS4 and Xbox Series X version of Alan Wake. The websites mentioned that the Alan Wake Remastered release date will be on October 5, 2021. It’s difficult to say if the pre-orders are legitimate considering that Remedy Entertainment is still yet to confirm this information.

Alan Wake Remastered is highly possible to happen considering that Remedy is currently working on two games. They recently sealed the deal with Epic Games to release two new games on Epic’s game launcher. Most notably, Remedy Entertainment transitioned to full production for a triple-A multi-platform game. A site tracker that discovered the FF7 Remake on the Epic Games Store found a listing of Alan Wake Remastered. Also, some rumors and speculations mentioned that an Alan Wake sequel is in the works. Since both Remedy and Epic agreed to a two-game deal, we might be getting Alan Wake Remastered and Alan Wake 2

While we’re still waiting for any official announcements from the studio, they might do so in an upcoming PlayStation Showcase. The event is coming up on September 9 and it will feature upcoming games this holiday and beyond. Hopefully, by then the rumors of Alan Wake Remastered and Alan Wake 2 will become a reality.
