Replays have been a used in the NBA to show fans watching on T.V. what really took place in a given sequence, especially those that happened quickly and they did not see clearly in real time. It also gives commentators a chance to take back their initial judgment of a call, if it was the right one or not.

That was exactly the case in the second quarter of Sunday’s All-Star Game. After Russell Westbrook was called for a foul on his block attempt on Giannis Antetokounmpo’s drive to the basket, Reggie Miller and Chris Webber could not believe the referee blew his whistle as it appeared to be a clean one. However, when the replay was shown, they hilariously said otherwise and acknowledged the good call made by Tony Brown, which was indeed correct.

Russell Westbrook may have failed to cleanly reject his shot, but he and Team LeBron were still able to end the night on a high note, completing a come-from-behind victory, 148-145. This year’s ASG proved to be a different one, not only with its format, but with how the players played defense for the majority of the game, including in the final sequence, which won the game for Westbrook and company.

LeBron James led his team’s charge, finishing with a near triple-double of 29 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists, while Westbrook chipped in 11 points, eight rebound and eight assists of his own. Team Stephen had a big game from DeMar DeRozan who had 21 points and six rebounds on the night, and Joel Embiid recording 19 points and eight rebounds in a losing effort.
