After puzzling people with his whereabouts, Allen Iverson has now resurfaced to the public view, carrying with him an apology for not showing up in a Big3 game in Dallas last week.

Iverson was supposed to appear as a player-coach for the Three's Company team on Sunday, but failed to show up, causing the league to set up an internal investigation to get to the bottom of the matter. While Iverson’s apology didn’t mention or bother explain why he went missing in action, it was reported earlier by TMZ Sports that the basketball Hall of Famer was seen inside the Rivers Casino in Des Plaines, Illinois from Saturday night until Sunday morning.

This is just the latest from what is turning out to be a tumultuous relationship between the Ice Cube-owned Big3 league and Iverson, whose track record is laden with transgressions on and off the court. While the league has yet to release an official statement with regards to any possible disciplinary actions it would levy on Iverson, it’s suffice to say that the NBA legend is fast melting Ice Cube’s patience.
