Always remember, Twitter never forgets. And yes, we are looking at you, New Orleans Saints rookie Alvin Kamara.

See, some years ago, 2012 to be exact, Kamara sent out a tweet that explicitly mocked the New Orleans Saints, you know, the same team that eventually drafted him five years later.

Here’s the tweet as dug by Old Player Tweets.

During the time Kamara proudly composed that tweet, he was still burning rubber for the Norcross High School in Georgia and was about three years away from suiting up for the Tennessee Volunteers. Teens can get easily excited on social media, so it’s better to just let Kamara get a pass on this one.

Plus, Kamara was right. Although the Saints had one of the best offenses in 2012, their defense was directly on the other end of the spectrum, as it allowed the most yards per game that year.

Also, Kamara ripped the Saints even after seeing New Orleans take the Atlanta Falcons down in Week 10 of that season, 31-27. Coincidentally, Kamara and his squad will face Atlanta this Thursday in an all-important matchup between two NFC South division rivals.

Kamara is coming off a fantastic performance in last Sunday’s 31-21 home win over the Carolina Panthers, rushing for 60 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries.
