Former 2013 first round pick Anthony Bennett will try to kickstart his short-lived career, this time with his fourth team in four years — the Brooklyn Nets.

The UNLV product has been nothing but disappointing since being drafted first overall by the Cavaliers, starting only three of 128 professional games played in Cleveland, Minnesota, and Toronto.

The report by NetsDaily seems to point in a different direction, one that will be much needed to resurrect his career.

Bennett was chosen before the likes of Victor Oladipo, C.J. McCollum, and Giannis Antetokounmpo and is a year's proof removed from being labeled a complete bust.

He was a gifted scorer in college, a dominant rebounder with an NBA-ready body, but unfortunately for him, it hasn't translated to success or playing time in the league.

The 23-year-old Canadian last averaged 1.5 points and 1.2 rebounds in 19 games of action for the Raptors last season.
