Everybody knows who Anthony Bennett is, but not because of good reasons.

He was drafted No. 1 overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2013 NBA Draft. Since then, he has bounced around different teams in the league, including the Minnesota Timberwolves, Toronto Raptors and Brooklyn Nets.

After about four years of being a journeyman, he was out of the NBA by the age of 24.

He tried playing in the Turkish Basketball Super League with Fenerbahce and even won a championship.

But he cannot escape the judging eyes of basketball fans. He has been labelled as one of the biggest busts in NBA history. In fact, he's already widely criticized while he has been jumping from team to team in the NBA.

This May, Bennett was released by Fenerbahce, continuing the former No. 1 overall pick's basketball career challenges.

He signed with the Phoenix Suns only to get waived in less than a month. He then joined the Northern Arizona Suns in the G League, before being traded to the Maine Red Claws.

Bennett just can't catch a break, and you may think that he's about to give up on his ultimate dream — going back into the NBA.

Bennett showed everybody that he still has what it takes to be a good basketball player. In the G League showcase at Mississauga, Ontario, he made 9-of-17 of his 3-point attempts over two games. However, he admits that he has a lot to learn, especially in the defensive end.

Nobody knows if Bennett will fulfill his dream of being back into the NBA, but you can't lose in trying.

According to Chicco Nacion of CBC Sports, Bennett has something to say on the matter:

“I just gotta go out there and play basketball the way I know how to. I'm working hard trying to get back to where I'm supposed to be.”
