Antoine Walker played 12 seasons, most of them with the Boston Celtics alongside Paul Pierce.

He was never able to compete for a championship in Boston but won later in his career with the Miami Heat.

Walker recently appeared on the NBA’s Sirius XM Radio show to give his thoughts on some recent NBA happenings.

One segment of the show covered Walker's belief that Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen should not have their jerseys retired in Boston.

Walker took pause with the notion that Garnett and Allen’s tenures in Beantown deserve a place in Celtics history.

“I think Kevin should be retired with the Minnesota Timberwolves. I think what he did there, struggling with the organization for ten or eleven years, and being the foundation there, I think he should retire with the Timberwolves.”

While that is his opinion, it will likely be up to Garnett where he would rather have his uniform hanging.

Garnett was the face of the Timberwolves for 12 years, but he won a championship with the Celtics.

Each situation warrants recognition, but Walker feels all of the credit belongs to Pierce.

He also believes while Allen won a championship in Miami as well as Boston, he may be more accepted being from the Connecticut area.

Walker will always consider Garnett a Timberwolves player, and Allen a toss up in his own mind as deserving, but someone should remind Walker they were called the Big three, and only won together.
