The NFL Combine is meant to become a platform for the league’s prospects to show NFL teams what they’ve got. However, reports surfaced that Antonio Brown will be using the combine to meet with teams and convince them to sign him next season.

According to Bleacher Report’s Adam Wells, the controversial wide receiver will be making an appearance at the Lucas Oil Stadium and hope that teams will give him the time of day. It’s still unknown if the league will allow him the opportunity to talk with team executives who are there to assess the young talents of the draft.

Speaking to TMZ Sports, the seven-time Pro Bowler said he is “excited” to go to Indianapolis and have face-to-face meetings with clubs.

“I’m gonna be out there ready to get things back on the right page,” Antonio Brown added.

If Brown does manage to make it into the premises of the combine, he will undoubtedly take some of the shine away from the upcoming rookies. Given how outspoken he’s been for the NFL to take him back, there’s little to no question that he’ll be making a lot of noise during the combine.

Moreover, it’s very much possible that things could go south if he pushes through with this. Some team execs might want to focus on the talents in front of him and ask the wide receiver to leave the premises. As his attitude recently has been erratic recently, it’s very much possible that things could end horribly.

One could only hope that things would end amicably if Antonio Brown does show up. However, the scandal loves to follow him recently. It’s very likely that he’ll make a lot of noise during the combine.
