Antonio Brown has done a whole lot of stuff over the last year—some of it strange, some of it downright evil—that has raised eyebrows across America.

As a result, many have surmised that the former NFL wide receiver must be suffering from CTE. How else could anyone possibly behave in this manner?

But Brown doesn't think he has CTE.

In an interview with ESPN's Josina Anderson on Friday, the 31-year-old said that he couldn't possibly have fallen victim to the disease that has claimed lives of football players in the past:

“Nah. If I had CTE I wouldn't be able to have this beautiful gym, I wouldn't be able to be creative,” said Antonio Brown. “I wouldn't be able to communicate. He didn't hit me that hard. You know, I got up and walked off the field. We won the game. I was all right. You play the game long enough, everyone get hit hard.”

Antonio Brown was referring to the vicious hit from Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict that nearly knocked him unconscious in February 2016.

Ironically enough, Burfict would eventually become Brown's friend and teammate when the wide out linked up with the Oakland Raiders last offseason, a marriage that lasted one offseason before Brown ultimately requested his release.

Brown's most recent incident occurred late last month, when he was arrested on charges of felony burglary and battery. He turned himself into police and was released on bail.

That was just the latest in an almost never-ending string of incidents that have happened over the last year and change.
