Did you know that you can get free legends because of the Apex Legends 3rd Anniversary celebration? At this point, you may have already missed out on the first two weeks of freebies, but there are still a lot to get from this series of events and giveaways, especially if you're a big Valkyrie fan. Here's how to get free Legends.

Apex Legends 3rd Anniversary Giveaway

It’s that time of the year again when Respawn Entertainment celebrates Apex Legends' launch anniversary. Apex Legends officially turned 3 years old on February 4 which meant another anniversary event for the Apex Legends community. Last year in Season 8, Respawn hosted an anniversary collection event for players to collect free rewards and cosmetics. The Apex Legends 3rd Anniversary celebration is the biggest yet as three legends have been up for grabs alongside thematic packs. 

The three legends that players can unlock for free in the upcoming anniversary event are Octane, Wattson, and Valkyrie. Each legend will also come with three thematic packs each. Also, aside from Valkyrie’s thematic packs comes one free legendary pack. There’s a very high chance that players could unlock a legendary skin for the Winged Avenger. Players permanently unlock these legends by logging in once a week beginning February 8 until March 1. Here’s the breakdown:

  • Log in once in Week 1 (February 8 – 15) to unlock Octane and 3 Thematic Packs;
  • Week 2 (February 15 – 22) to unlock Wattson and 3 Thematic Packs; and
  • Week 3 (February 22 – March 1) to unlock Valkyrie, 3 Thematic Packs, and 1 Legendary Pack

For players who own all three legends already, participating in the event still gives you benefits. You are eligible to receive each legend’s thematic packs and Valkyrie’s legendary pack.

Apex Legends is without a doubt still one of the hottest battle royale games there is out there. Despite encountering various glitches and bugs over the years, we are now approaching the game’s 12th Season. We are also approaching Apex’s 3rd anniversary which is an indication that the game is here to stay. Considering that this is Apex’s biggest anniversary celebration yet, it makes us wonder what’s in store for the 4th anniversary.
