Apex Legends' new weapon, the Bocek Bow, finally received its first nerf a few weeks after its release. The bow has been doing very well both in casual games and in high levels of play. Although fans think that it was doing too well.

Apex Legends Season 9: Legacy made its way into live servers a few weeks ago. The update brought many changes to the game, and even introduced a new playable character, and a new weapon. The Bocek Bow, as it name implies is a bow-based weapon that fires off a single arrow before needing to reload. The shot can be charged for a brief second to increase its damage.

One unique feature to this weapon is that the ammo can be reused. The arrows will stick to targets and surfaces and can be picked up by a player. The Bocek also features two new attachments. The weapon can only utilize one at a time. However, the player can switch between the two attachments if both are available.

Apex Legends‘ Bocek Bow's damage stats pre-nerf were strong and frustrating to play against.

The weapon deals 70 damage to the body when fully charged, and it only needed to be charged for .54 seconds before reaching maximum damage. The nerf saw this damage go down to only 60 along with the charge time increasing to .58 seconds. The update also toned down the number of ammo that can be looted and carried. Before the nerf, a stack of arrows that can be looted was at 16 which is now reduced to 14. Meanwhile a player can only stack 28 arrows per item slot, going down from 48. This update hopes to town down the overall power of the Bocek Bow while it is still a good option for players with a good sense of aim.
