Players know that Apex Legends Battle Pass skins are exclusive to those who avail of the BP. Apparently, this could change in the coming seasons.

Just like any other battle royale game, Apex Legends offers a battle pass inclusive of exclusive items including skins. For a while now, players who purchase the battle pass from each season have bragging rights of owning certain skins. Apex Legends players consider the battle pass skins rare since owning a BP is the only way to acquire them.

However, Apex Legends leaker Garret suggests that these skins will no longer be rare because they could potentially return to the store. He stated that Respawn changed the information regarding the battle pass rewards several times on their FAQ website. Originally, Respawn mentioned that battle pass rewards will never return once a new season begins. Then they changed this information by mentioning that the rewards could come back in Season 10, which didn’t happen. Therefore, the devs once again changed this information by stating that battle pass rewards will return in Season 11 onwards. The previous battle pass rewards will come back via special events and promotions in the store.

This comes as a total bummer to battle pass owners since their skins will now decrease in value. Some players suggest that Respawn should instead bring a recolored version of the battle pass skins. That way, the original battle pass skins still get to maintain their prestige. As for non-battle pass owners, this is great news for them because they now have the opportunity to claim the once rare skins.
