Joel Embiid has already accomplished some of his lifelong dreams, which includes reaching the NBA and becoming an All-Star. Today, it looks like Embiid has already crossed another top item on his bucket list: getting Rihanna’s attention.
According to several reports, Rihanna has finally caved in following Embiid’s incessant requests and insinuations on social media to date her. Clearly, Rihanna has received enough SOS signals from Embiid that she can’t any longer just ignore the Sixers’ All-Star center.
It is no secret that Embiid badly wants Rihanna’s attention, and there could be no better proof of his true feelings for her than resuming his wooing of Riri right after waking up from surgery. Instead of asking about the Sixers or what his name is, Embiid went straight to shooting his shot.

Joel Embiid has caught a bad break recently which will cause him to miss a number of games. After sustaining an orbital fracture around his left eye, when his head was inadvertently hit in by Sixers teammate Markelle Fultz, the Philadelphia 76ers center underwent a surgery on Saturday to fix his injury. With that, Embiid is expected to miss at least two weeks of action.
Rihanna was not the only thing on Embiid’s mind after getting his consciousness back, though. Embiid also tried to watch the Final Four matchup between his college team, the Kansas Jayhawks, and the Villanova Wildcats. The Jayhawks were ripped apart in that game by Villanova’s shooting, though, so Embiid turned his entire attention on his pursuit of dating Rihanna.
It all paid off for Embiid, who now serves as a seven-foot reminder that dreams do come true.
